I have been dreaming of this for a while now and was finally able to obtain my hatching eggs. I just hatched out my very first fuzzy butts that I obtained from Ahappychick this morning. Two more are zipped, and time will tell if there are more to come. I am very happy and excited. I will post pics when I can open the bator. Just had to tell you my exciting news.

He's been in with 12 girls for almost 2 months. I had to wait because I had a sussex roo in there before. I put 2 days worth- maybe 20 eggs- in the incubator. None from that coop look fertile. My wellies are all developing though. The only other issue would be that their coop is not heated, and the wellie coop has a lamp. Maybe the eggs got too cold?

Also- he does not crow. He's the same size as my wheaten roo- but his tail isn't as long yet.

I wish he'd get down to business- the cochins are pulling out their belly feathers! It's getting to be that time again

UPDATE: He started crowing this morning! Maybe he's a late bloomer?

I have 6 Ameraucan hens that I crossed with a Lavender Ameraucana Rooster that I got from JamesA.
Now I have 60 some chicks and I'm posting a few pictures to see what you all think!!!!
Are they now EE's or are they purebred?
If so, what color will they be?
Edited to add "Ameraucana" to the lavender rooster
