I did help him sort through his girls for what we think lay the best color wise and let him go ahead and set a hatch. He's got his eye on Sedalia next year.

Heard back from John, and he said the same thing I did. Please have patience. Michael is a super busy guy, who's time is 100% volunteer, and he gets to everything as soon as he can.

In the meantime, the folks here can help you with most everything, and several of us are members too.

Rest assured that your memberships will all be activated and rolling before the next newsletter comes out, and as long as memberships are sent in, you will qualify for special awards at shows/etc. You really aren't missing out on anything right now besides posting on the forum.

Diane, try giving Michael a call. That might be better than an email. I talked with him earlier this week. He is pretty busy and I know we all are but please keep in mind that Michael is carrying on as Secretary even though he doesn't have any Ameraucanas anymore. His job recently required him to move to the Chicago area and for now he's not some place that can have birds. So, his staying on a Secretary is a blessing in and of itself.

Also, I think Jean is the official President now isn't she? She might be one to contact instead of John in the future.

And lastly, don't forget, I should be able to get you some WBS eggs in a few months.

I had thought about contacting my district director before Jean, but John seems more active and there was contact info for him in the forum sticky.

I think the biggest "issue" isn't really anything to do with Michael specifically, it's that there is no available feedback at all. People have no way whatsoever to know if Michael even received their information or if the contact email is still valid. It's truly a rarity to not get so much as even an automated email back that says TY for your payment, order, whatever. The only other time I've bought something online (not on a pre-order) that I hadn't received my order over a month later the seller turned out to be a fraud. Yet, I still received an order confirmation and he responded at least once to an email inquiry.

There are a myriad of ways to automate things and take the burden off of Michael. At the very least it should be noted that your order may take months to process. The ABC was not the only club we joined that day. They are however the only one we've received absolutely nothing from. Sorry, but that's odd.


If I knew of any other place to get the charts, I would just cancel the order and do it.
 
I know where you're coming from. I think that why so many of us end up coming to this thread and asking "What the heck?"
The automated receipt or a "Thank you, you'll receive your membership packet in 6 to 8 weeks...." would be nice. It can't be that hard to do.
 
Well, CRYSTALCREEK. My local Home Depot Garden center did not have large suet cages. Dang! But, on my venture through Target, I noticed these little baskets. They were only $3.50, so I thought I'd give it a shot!
