American serama thread!

debuting my first serama hatchling.... here is baby number one- another looks like it will hatch tomorow, the last one i'm not sure on, there is a lighter ring between the air sack and the dark area- might be he is behind the others in development? bad photo, but you get the idea....

Thanks for the compliment on my cocopop.......yes, I love the color too that is why I kind of over look on the type when I took on the project. My oh my, what a handsome cocopop you have there girl!!!!!!!!

Where and when did you get him??????

LOL, those are NOT my birds Joey!!! You gotta read the whole post!! I snagged some pics off SCNA for Mauigirl, she asked what scissor wing looked like. I remembered seeing a very pretty bird on the Virtual show that had scissor wing.

Hey guys, just checking in on here, really not to comfortable with the format of the new stuff!!! Love all the photos, I think it is great to see everyone who is so excited about their birds. Chaili the chick photos are wonderful, great camera and the man behind the scenes doing it, kudos to him!!

I dont get some of the new people to the seramas and to the forum being so nasty towards some of the other members who have been here for a while. It is always wise to judge people for your self, just becasue someone else has differences with a person does not mean that you must take on a battle. ESPECIALLY if you are new, you may be mis guided. and you come out looking RUDE and and people arent going to want anything to do with you. !!!

ON a side note Is anyone ready for the seminationals!! I was until my favorite roo refused to grow back his sickles and the other grew one back so far. Oh well. I will have the games to fall back on. Taking 4 american games and 6 seramas i think, two dogs fabian, chaili, Jessica, and Joey. Party time. Bill and sue will be there also . YAHOO!!!

From my understanding and reading Line breeding should be Father X Daughter and Mother to Son .... And breeding Mottled to any color will be impossible to breed out if you are going for color.

These are Facts and no one is picking on anyone or being RUDE if you want to teach other please show them the right way ...

Sorry! I'm tired. Took the kids to the hills to go sledding today, shoveled a path to the greenhouse, shoveled off the porches, cleaned coops out... Sleep sounds about good right now. Still gotta wash kid coats and wash a kiddo but I am procrastinating.
