American serama thread!

I hate going anywhere of the same reason and we also have dogs. me and my husband when to vegas for 3 days, 1st time away from kids in 3 years. I was stressed the whole time. Of course my very 1st serama hatched the day before we left. We got home and my pitbull had shreded my new couches....literally. It looked tike it had snowed in the house. this was wven after my friends came and spent time with him every day. I could have shot him. I seriously wanted to but my husband wouldn't give me the gun!!! So as long as your birds don't have access to your furniture you"ll be fine. You never think anyone will take care of your pets as good as you do and I am sure they wont, but you have to get away sometimes. Enjoy the time because you probabley wont let yourself go any where for a long time after this.

CCL (Crazy Chicken Lady) I bet they'll appreciate and LOVE you even more when you get home!

Sorry about your mom, but hopefully it will be a wonderful remembrance of all the good times and laughter that was shared in years past.

Now you are talking Bobby....showing is the only way for you to know where you stand or if you are going the right direction. I started out the same way as you do.
