Thanks for the info. Why do you think 4 died? This is impossible to determine in every case. I've often read posts about the air cell membrane being ruined in shipping. But there's also a membrane around the yolk. I have never read the effects if that is damaged. I have had eggs shipped a number of times and there has always been those eggs that start to develop and then die. There's also the possibility that eggs were pushed aside and got cold. This is unlikely in that the number of eggs to start with was small. And too, the embryos could have been weak for one reason or another. This I doubt too as there is a surviving egg from each bird. My belief is that the yolk membrane was damaged. Did they have broken air cells?
So you're confirming that Worf's eggs are fertile? That's great news.
