Right on the nose Faraday40. 3 weeks old last Friday!
I had such a great hatch rate with WVduckchick hatching eggs . My own hatch rate is horrible. 3 out of 14, 2 out of 9, One pen nothing hatches but gets all the way to lock down. They get the same as my other pens. moving them mess them up? Vitamin supplement?
Really disappointed and frustrated

I don’t do anything special for mine, they eat and do what all my other breeds do. But I guess some extra vitamins can’t hurt?

This little baby was hatched a few hours ago. She was the first hatchling from my babies I hatched from @WVduckchick s eggs on St. Patty's Day.

I love her already! Slipped her under her mom with her half-sibs soon as she fluffed up.

Stuck her under her mom last night. She is doing great!

Serama babies are SO adorable.....

This is my 5 day old Silkie/Serama cross with the 6-toed freak foot. This baby is the sweetest thing!!!

I know, right??!! I love a critter that's a bit special. I am keeping this bird even if it turns out to be a boy. It has an awesome temperament, and seems fond of hanging out in my cleavage, lol.

Well, then, I'd say it must be a boy.

I sold 7 seramas last night. Had to give up 2 hens and a tiny pullet, but got rid of 4 cockerels, so I'm still happy. I can always make more.
