Crele is technically a barred/cuckoo BB Red. So you'll need both barred and BB Red. To my knowledge, there aren't any (or at least not many) BB Red colored Serama. You could use wheaten though it might dilute it too much.

Yes, maybe something like that and a barred. The BYC'er that has the seramas I am going to get may not have anything I can use to make the creles. If not, I will just get the whites and maybe a couple others that I like the type. I will just have to wait and see.

I plan to have an area for them for a run. I am also going to have several other bantam breeds that I will use these cages for when or if I want to do some conditioning for showing.

Now that the cages are done, I REALLY need to catch up on my housework.

He could work, though he might be a bit too dark. Crele is not impossible to get, I have one that 'popped up' from eggs a friend gave me. He has yet to hatch any crele, though one of the chicks I hatched from his eggs is

I need a new pic, this one is a bit old. He looks much better color-wise now, though I think he's a bit on the chunky side

Once you get a crele or close to it, then mate his daughters back to him, I am working on orange barred and just got my first hatch from my rooster. I'm going to keep the best type and color, then breed back to him. Then I will do the same with their offspring until I get where I want with them. Also if you get a better type and color rooster from them and then you can start the same way with him. It is basically line breeding to lock in the color and type.

nice birds love the little crele guy !
