Fun, I had ice on all my water containers, chickens are all well!! ray you live in a place of beauty, you get to see nature and the seasons, we live in summer and spring/fall no winter in so call!! A change would be nice.

Congrats on your second incubator Chicklette!!

I'm excited collecting eggs from some of my pullets that just started laying. I'm going to set them probably Sunday, and go for a New Years hatch!


Yes, it was cold down here too, frost on the rooftops, and ice on the windshields. The seramas had the heater on low a couple hours last night, and then again this morning, just to get the chill out of their bones. I brought my tiny 8oz pullets inside for the night, and let everyone else buddy up.

JOEY chailis bird passed due to nothing that breeding caused!!
Jj dies from impacted crop due to feeding to mutch corn and it not passing through his crop from being impacted!!
never got a cause of death from rays bird but he had a few pass at the same time and i am sure it was not you.

Sleep well YB.......I think there is a higher power that sometimes culls our birds for us. We do our best and then it is out of our control!
