Oh dear! I'm so sorry you're ill! I hope you will get better really soon and that your husband doesn't catch any of it! I've been wanting to get a flu shot, but never got around to it, now I feel so vulnerable! Really don't want to get sick this year
And really wish you a quick recovery!
Wow, I love his coloring! The spangles are beautiful and well spaced! Such a pretty boy!
Thanks. He's my favorite, but don't tell the others, lol. I love his colors, and he's so friendly. When I open their door he hops right out onto my hand and starts nosing around for treats.
Mine hatched last night. I only got two, but they seem healthy and active! With chickens, it seems that they can all get along as long as there is a good hen to roo ratio. Some say as many as 10 hens to a roo? I think you could get a way with fewer, but don't really have experience
If the boys are hatch mates, it might be easier, as long as there are a good number of hens around??
Here are my little ones drying off in the incubator:
They spent the night in there. Now they're in a cardboard box "brooder" as they don't need more than that. I'll put them in a cage when they get bigger I'm hoping one will turn out to be a frizzle. They're both from Bhep
Thanks. He's my favorite, but don't tell the others, lol. I love his colors, and he's so friendly. When I open their door he hops right out onto my hand and starts nosing around for treats.
Congrats! I see your using a Brinsea Mini (Advance??) I just got one for Christmas and have never hatched eggs. How did it work out for you? We're you able to fit more Serama eggs in it? I'm going to be hatching Bantam eggs and it say only 7 chicken eggs, but I was thinking about removing the tray to be able to hatch more. But then I thought that if I removed the tray it wouldn't be able to turn the eggs right. I have the Advance.
