Do the have a possibility of being a different feather type that smooth? (Silkied)(frizzle)

Unless one of my birds out both it's gifting those genes then no they should.... Be all smooth

One of my hens just started to get a red face and her wattles became more prominent.she has also just stated to make a nest. When should I expect eggs?

I do not think that anyone can give you a definite time other than saying soon. Hopefully, you will have eggs within a few weeks.
