It doesn't take much to understand the point that was being made.

well.. I learned a long time ago not to assume I know what someone means.. Lol.. I've gotten into way too much trouble doing that

Plus blanket statements in general just get under my skin.. most are dead wrong (they do not allow for other scenarios... and I have run across so many "rules" for hatching eggs that fall into that category) but are presented as the gospel truth.. which leads others to parrot the same info over and over again.
Others are like the one above.. could be interpreted in many ways.. and I know that chances are the poster meant something specific.. But when taken into context with my previous reply about guys dreaming of shooting the guns that my husband has access to (it appears to me that's what it was directed at even though my reply wasn't quoted specifically) I hate to assume that I know what was going through the mind of that person and to know what the poster meant since I can not be 100% sure.

so I try to be s specific as I can to remove any doubt as to what I am trying to say.. even though I may have to come back and clarify things later on. I add disclaimers..For those hatching threads I try to give as much info as I can when I disagree with incubation practices .. not just saying "hey you're wrong".. but "hey.. THIS is why that statement is wrong" and then continue on with the explanations to back up my statement.

I know.. wishful thinking.. but it helps me get through the days and nights while he's away
