Have a little Americana (Easter Egger, not Amerucana) that has the cutest little green legs/feet!!! 🥰

What kind of chicken would give her green legs?

Just curious, obviously she's a mix from Hoovers, but I'm just curious!

Thanks!

The original blue egg laying chickens that Easter Eggers were bred from could have any color leg, and there are numerous different breeds in their background.
Green legs are caused by the yellow skin gene and the dermal melanin gene (which causes slate legs) working together.
