Ancona Ducks

Some of this years juvies. I have some tri colors, whites, blacks, and blues for sale if anyone is looking (mostly males left).

Colors have been awesome this season as well as some great body types and chest coloring. The years of selective breeding are starting to pay off!

very nice looking birds

We got blues and heavily marked black ones. Wanna try to find a light marked drake later to even out the coloring. Where are you located at?
I am located in southern maine but can ship (weather dependent).
What color are you looking for? I have some mature drakes right now (some pictured). I have a nicely marked black drake, nice chest coloring, a little on the small side though. But not too much black.
I have 2 black drakes, not very heavily marked. They are on my cull list because they seem too long bodied to me. Not what I am breeding for.
I have a heavily marked blue, a heavily marked tri color (pictured)
I have 2 lilacs, nicely marked, both have chest coloring. I only plan to keep one but I'm waiting for one to grow out completely before I pick (he's about 2 months now)

I also have several young ones. I could certainly sex out a male if interested. Lots of blacks and a few blues. Nice lightly marked but still too young to tell body types

They sure do look nice!
Got most heavily marked ones, so am looking for a light colored one. Long bodies don't bother me as I am more interested in getting them lighter.
My babies are about 2 months old now; I got blues and blacks, 2 tri colored chocolates (keepers). Not too fond of shipping as it's stressful for older birds. But will definitely keep you in mind once they mature!

what does it mean when my duck has its neck and head stretch out on top of the water.it just did it today when I cleaned out their pool. Its probably means nothing but I just never see it do it. And I was just wondering what it was doing

also why do my anconas and pekin try to fly when they cant. My anconas can jump and get up off the ground about 5 ft but can really fly around or anything

is this a hen? If so this is a submissive breeding position.
