After a molt, when do the females start laying again. It has been a month and still no egg. I got her off of craigslist, so I think she went into a molt when she arrived in a new environment.

They usually take 1-2 months off for molting

My females started laying almost straight after their molt.

Great birds. Lots a colour variants and great layers. My school have 20+ birds at present and we ship fertile eggs all over Australia.

Mine were out from July also, but began laying well again in early August. All guns blazing now!!!

I keep the little ones separated from the adults until they can fight for themselves. Also worried about the drakes covering the young ones when they are too young and fragile.
