Announcing the new BYC Reputation System: Ovations

Date sort Score sort
Go to your own profile, and on the left side, you should see "Ovations". If you click on it, you will see all the ovations you have received. Only you can see your own list. You can click on the one you want, and it will take you to the actual thread. Then you can post in that thread, and the person should see it. You can also tag them like @AncientWarrior by typing the @ sign, and their ID. It should send them a message that they were tagged (if they have their preferences set to do so)

The wall I referred to is on the right side of everyone's profile. Says "Public Messages". Anyone can see those.
 
@WVduckchick ok I clicked on the ovation post link and got to here on the one you gave me (thanks! ;)

The other ovation I got was on my picture page which has no associated thread / post link to go to.

Also when I go to the profile of the user who gave me the other ovation @wildknives I see the Public Messages title but there are no posts there and it seems no way to enter a post there?

No problem! Oh, I didn't think about ovations on pics. I would do the public message then. Where you see Public Messages, the box under the words says "Write something to ____". Just type there in that box, and click Post Message. These can be also be deleted by the poster or the receiver at any time.

I should have also said... the stuff I am referring to is only visible on desktop mode. So if you are using mobile, it could be all different!

X2 if you are using the Mobile Version, I believe you can't see badges, titles or public messages. Profile pages will look totally different as well. I always use Desktop when on my phone or tablet to get the most out of BYC. Mobile users can miss out on some options.
