That's how a wild flea-market looks like in WV:
full

Public and private sales prohibited… - Even the sheriff came over and bought some stuff - no duck-eggs, sadly…

Four hours later, the heat becomes unbearable, just sold my fifth dozen of duck-eggs, i'm packing up and go buy some iceberg lettuce for the ducklings

Nice! i love flea markets like that, you find the best retro tech.

Happy you sold eggs! make some Duck Bucks

Made enough for a 50lbs bag of pellets, some kale and an iceberg salad for the ducklings.
I hope i can establish some kind of a customer base there, so that people will come to my house to buy their eggs.
And yes, they were selling everything there! The HB to my left had a thing that looked like the wrong end of a flamethrower, told the customer: »Have no clue what that thang is, found it in a c'llapsed born. If you gimme a buck ya can havit!« (Sold!)

I have to confess...I miss duck eggs.
I have more than enough chicken eggs just no ducks. :(
I really enjoy following your hour adventures.
I totally understand that you miss duck eggs! - Traded a dozen duck-eggs for chicken-eggs with my neighbor, so those are healthy, organic, climate-neutrally produced chicken eggs from happy chickens. - They're way, way better than what you buy in stores, really! But still a duck-egg tastes eggier and creamier. - I'm a lost case for chickens…

Another Saturday morning on the wild flea-market in Elkview:
Even though i arrived an hour earlier than last week i could only secure a spot in the center parking lane - bad spot:

After six hours i just sold two dozen eggs. Had a lot of »eeeww! Duck eggs!« and »Duck eggs, gross!« people to deal with, caught a cold in the morning and a sun-burn on the same day. Couldn't even sell the working(!) microwave for $10, while people all around me were selling their garbage! - Used wire mesh basket for $2 - you can buy new ones at the store for 1$. Canning glasses sold for 50¢ a piece - six-pack @ Kroger for $2.
I don't get it! - But the veggie-colleague was hit with the same bad-luck today…

Sorry you had another bad day. We are literally at Magnolia Ducks right now. Nice place to visit.
Set-backs are there to keep you humble! Persistence will be successful in the long run. We've given a dozen eggs to our favorite Mexican restaurant, maybe in return they will let us post a note close to their reception desk…
