Another Breed question. Someone said she is a Kelso.

She does look like a kelso but like has been said a few times already you can’t tell just by looks alone. It’s a guess at best unless the person who bred her told you and even knew themselves.
She has the right feather and leg coloring for a few strains of kelso but you can’t tell if anything else has been added or not recently.

she is a gamefowl-type chicken!
Here are my rescue gamefowl types, Coco and Snickers

Anyone know about this breed, a group on Facebook says she a Kelso. She is a bully to my 7 Barred Rocks, then attacked my new rooster when he got introduced but he put her in line. She is sitting on another new hens eggs and then pecked at them when I tried to grab them, and destroyed one before I was able to get her out of the nesting box. Thank all of you who have posted. All these post have helped me to figure out so much about her and her temperment as well. I do believe our Frankie is a gamefowl. She was very skinny, no tail feathers and very skiddish when we got her, she looked like she was sew together from 2 differnt birds, her front half was red and her back half was black with cream patches all over, that is how she got the name Frankie, short for Frankenstein.
