Another egg swap thread

Lots of ideas, which is what I was hoping for.

I still feel like holding my ground on the 90 day rule. I feel someone who has been on BYC, whether actively participating or not, is probably someone with a serious interest in chickens and is a community member. Not to say that someone who recently joins, who has World Champion Marans, wouldnt be a great addition to the swap, they would. However, I would like to think they would stick around long enough to be a contributing member of BYC, and perhaps even join our swap. I like to think of this swap as a benefit of being a BYC member. I dont know how thats being clique-ish. I think it would be good for new members to get to know the site, the people, how the swaps operate, before just jumping in.

Pictures of the eggs are ALWAYS welcome, especially the dark egg breeds. Hopefully that will be a part of posting your offerings.

Id prefer to stick with 6 eggs; you can offer 12 if you like, but a lot of people dont have a huge number of hens. Shipping on 6 eggs is a bit cheaper than 12, also.

Those are just my ideas on this suggestions.

Okay, I changed the membership rule to 60 days. Do we want to launch it as it is now? The week will end on Sunday at midnight. Does anyone see anything else that needs discussion on the front page of this thread?
