Another Sunday Morning Breakfast - Pancakes w/ Recipe

When I was a little girl, every Sunday my Daddy and I made pancakes and our recipe is similar to yours. And since my parents were Vermonters (they were the first generation to leave New England since the Mayflower on both sides!!) I am spoiled rotten and only real maple syrup will do. Those are some of the most wonderful memories I have. Daddy passed away on Fathers Day several years ago, but I still make these pancakes ALL the time but I have to cook them in bacon grease... they are total heart attacks in the making.... but OHHHHHH SOOOOO good!!

Just made these scrumptious pancakes this morning for brunch. I used the search function to find a recipe for waffles on BYC and came across this wonderful pancake recipe of yours. Yumm!

For those of you who haven't tried this recipe - it would be a great breakfast for the Fourth of July - complete with strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream.

OMG!!! I forgot about this yummy thread!!! This was back when I was beggin Miss Prissy every day to adopt me and I finally had to give up since she never would say yes!! LOL!! Those pancakes look as good now as they did in February!!!!

Looks great, but did you cook those on the woodstove? And right on about the cane syrup, that's what we use!
