Is it only at night that you’re worried about the crowing? Or is daytime crowing OK? If daytime crowing is OK temporary solution would be to take some old towels and line the coop with three or four layers of towels to buffer the sound. You could run by Goodwill or someplace that sells them really cheap used. But that also depends on how big your coop is. I also realize that that idea is stretching the limits, but I’m trying to think outside the box
Night and early morning is all we are worried about, because that is the only time they crow. So I would turn the device off during the day. I looked into sound proofing but it will get to hot as we are in Florida. OMG its so hot an very very humid right now, its even hot in the shade So if anyone knows of a sound proofing that will stay cool in our heat and very high humidity that would be wonderful. On a side note when we are outside with our huge big fan on, the chickens will come lay in front of it from time to time lol and thank you for thinking outside the box
