I'm an admitted candling addict. I'd rather put my mind at ease and know everything is ok (or find out if something is wrong) than worry myself to pieces!

Here's something to consider.... Your light looks really nice and bright! I have one similar. But I took a piece of thin craft foam and cut a small round hole in it. Wrapped it around the end of the flashlight, with the hole in the center of the beam, and taped it on. It adds a little softness, making it not feel so much like you might crack the egg with it, and it also focuses the light in a little more concentrated area. I'll take a picture of mine this evening, but I found it very helpful.

I am about to head home and may not be on for a little while, but will check in later.

I knew I wouldn't have been able to sleep tonight not knowing if they were all dead. I didn't want to do it but it's made me feel so much better seeing it wiggle around . Ah fab, thank you!! I tried putting them in egg boxes, cutting a hole out and shining the light through, it helped but your way sounds great. Would love to see your pics!! I don't know if I'm got to be able to sleep tonight... Not through worrying though, through excitement!!!
