Any artists out there?

Not yet, unfortunately. Things got busy yesterday because we dissected a rooster that a hawk had killed. That took up a lot of time.
The mask is being tricky, but it's almost done. Then there are just a few more things to do, and I'm set! Hopefully, I'll be done tonight, but it might end up being tomorrow.
No need to rush! I can be perfectly patient!
Why dissect?

How much do you know about young rooster behavior...

They tend to be very... er... affectionate, shall we say.
My little Easter Egger cockerel has been trying to figure out the whole mating shtick, and it's kind of disturbing, considering how sweet he is.
He likes to flutter up onto my shoulder or back, the cutie.

Well...the new roo I rescued...
I was spending time with him, he likes pumpkin seeds, so I just kinda lay down in the straw, and he um...got on my leg.
(you know?)

I'd thought of doing it before, but this was the first time that someone who knew what they were doing cutting something open -- my mother took biology and guided me through it -- so this was the first time actually doing it.
I'll spare you the pictures, and instead give you a picture of him when he was alive -- his name was "Simnel, and he was a Japanese Bantam cockerel":

Oh, EEEEEEEEWWW. I haven't had that happen to me -- I meant that they tend to be affectionate towards the hens, sorry.
Will he grow out of that, or does he think I'm his ladie friend now?
He might stop it once he's introduced to the hens, but I'm not sure.

I don't think it was out of aggression, he's just a young man and I was down on his level, so...
I hope he doesn't turn aggressive or else I might have to rehome him :(
