Any Authors On This Site?

I’d be interested in knowing what fueled everyone’s interests in writing. Was it inspiration from a favorite author or book? Just something you’ve always enjoyed doing from the time you were young? A creative spark that needed an outlet? I know where my love of words came from. Inquiring minds……….

I've always had stories running through my head. I'm not to good about just sitting down and writing them though.
Robin Hood got me into Medieval things, Rush Revere got me into American history, and Jennifer A Nielson got me into historical fictions.

Hello again!
I haven't done any actual writing recently, but I've been figuring out some plot twists and such in my head. Making a little progress!
How about you?

Mostly fanfiction. Though I do think that I've started a new work since we last talked.
My brain is running a thousand miles an hour at all times, and now I have far more things going at once than I probably should.

No but I've been thinking of it for a long time.

A children's story has been running through my mind lately.

I have written a novel, but it's not published. It's what's called a "police procedural." The detective is the main character, trying to solve a murder.

It's also an "inverted mystery," where the reader knows who the suspect is long before the detective does. So there's the element of ticking clock, and "will he figure it out before the evidence disappears?"

Not likely it'll ever see print... but I enjoyed writing it.

Please think about publishing this.
