When I lived in Ecuador back in the late 70s a neighbor couple that had two little girls played this song seemingly NON STOP from the last week of November until after New Years. I about went bonkers. It would start up at 6AM and wouldn't go off until 8 or 9 when they went to bed. NON STOP (oh I already said that)

ETA: I also despise "Fleas Naughty Dog" oh yeah, you already have it up there... Feliz Navidad.

I generally dislike any of them meant to be cutesy, redneck-themed, or heavy handed with whatever message they've got.

Most of typical Christmas songs don't bother me. I have a fondness for the odd-but-not-trite ("Don't Shoot Me Santa"), the exotic ("Six White Boomers" if Australia counts as exotic), and the 'classics' (Elvis and Bing Crosby and such? Yes!).

I turn off the radio if it bugs me. And when shopping? I tune it out, because those tunes are programmed to make you shop more. I pretty much ignore it, though some of the ones from the fifties really do give me chills or warm, fuzzy feelings. Like "White Christmas" sung by Bing Crosby.
