Any fermentation fans (fanatics?) here?

From an hour ago Its got brewers yeast in but the yeast is very old so:fl
I bet the yeast is probably still ok...hope it gets good and fermenty! Might take a couple of days, depending on your temperatures there. Have you had sourdough pancakes? I'm thinking about making some when the starter perks back up. And sourdough cinnamon rolls.

btw when I said it was old, I meant old expired in '13 kind of old

So I looked up brewers yeast and it says its deactivated, and you cant prove it like bread yeast. Is there a way to tell if the yeast is still viable?

So how do you make your dark beer?
