Any guesses on my flocks different breeds?

She could be pure but her color is much more rusty and brown than I’ve seen in any hatchery quality legbars. Where did you get her from?

A local high school was raising them, and when the school year ended they needed homes. So all three of our girls came from them. I don’t know where they got them from, probably locally.

Most definitely ordered from a hatchery. Unlikely to find a local, non commercial breeder who is going to have breeding stock to produce so many purebred birds.

Great pick up though! Some really nice looking birds and a great variety.

The splash Orpington is really cool. It's hard to say a bird is "rare", but certainly one you don't see often

Thank you, we do love our girls!! And yes she is a very pretty and unique hen. I had never seen one like her before!
