So. Had take mama to her doc appt. daughter in law was here so i asked could they put my bread in the oven for me. Gave her the temp and an approx time. But also said... it will be quite brown amd firm on top amd when you thump it it sounds hollow. ...... my beautiful loaves of bread has a sad streaky hole now. . They took it out too soon and the middle wasnt done. Boo! So now i have maybe a half of a loaf that is usable out of two. Guess i will be makin nread again tomorrow.

Can you scoop them out a little and put soup in them?

I forgot to take my camera to my mom's house tonight to get a good picture of the finished quilt. It looks wonderful though and the poults match it perfect! My daughter's school ended up on lockdown and had us all in a panic for a couple hours so the camera totally slipped my mind.

Maybe. But i am not plannin on makin soup soonish. Dangit! Plus.. i have no bread for lunch or toast. Which was why i was makin nread today lol! Hubby and son the you g used the last i had today for lunches. Guess i may break down and buy a loaf from the grocery when i go tomorrow. The ends for bout two inches in are good though.

Take the cooked parts, cube them and let them dry out before bagging. You can use them for making stuffing!

You could also make croutons. Those are so easy to make and are very tasty

Take the cooked parts, cube them and let them dry out before bagging. You can use them for making stuffing!

You could also make croutons. Those are so easy to make and are very tasty

I do both of those things usually. We will eat the heels that are good and most likely the chickens will get the rest after it has sat and dried out a few days.
