Oh I miss having a Costco nearby their powdered California Garlic was sublime and packed a nice sharp bite! 53miles is a bit of a haul to get to Costco. In Austin it was like 5 miles away.
Our Costco is a mile from my house. It is like my neighborhood store!

I am going there after lunch to pick up kirkland Parmesan cheese. I will check to see if they still have the California Garlic. I like the California onion powder too

Looks easy enough for substitutions, thank you for the lead! I'l try this with a tofu or seitan, almond milk only thing we don't usually have on hand are the celery seeds.
Apparently I have issues with the cut n paste too I didn't capture the whole thing because I thought the adds were at the bottom of ingredients not expecting them to be in the middle.

2nd edit-also that recipe is only calling for 1tsp pepper, must be a yankee thing, I'll up that to 1TBSP per pie and its missing a little chili powder mix to round out the seasonings.

It's one of those things you can switch up however you like.

I make something similar but instead of a pie crust, I top it with mashed potatoes (like a Shepard's Pie only with chicken or turkey). If you want meat-free, one of those would be easy for you too.

Our nearest Costco is about 3 1/2 hours away. Sam's Club is closer...it's only 2 1/4hours away :D

Nearest costco is at least 60 miles away. Wally world is only 12.... GFS is 90 miles away but worth the trip upon occasion.
