Nice!

I have bread cubes in the freezer that I am saving for bread pudding.

This is the last one

I do the same thing. The leftovers from the week get cubed, dried and put in the freezer until I have enough.

I'm going to try a savory version next time, still looking through recipes though.

This is a Hot Dog dish we like:
Peel and cut in small cubes potatoes boil
Veggie oil in pan...fry the potatoes (like home fries)
slice hot dog in think slices and add
Peel and slice one onion and add
Let this cook until almost done
Then add cooked (for a few minutes frozen peas)
All together cook till done.
This a layered one pot meal we like. We use catsup, salt, pepper

I bake three loaves of bread and slice them and freeze them in ziplock bags. When someone wands bread, they either toast it or thaw in the microwave briefly. That way the bead does not go bad. (and it is eaten...some find it hard to slice bread)

The end pieces are cubed for bread pudding. After it is stale it goes into the freezer.

:caf I don’t know about using half oil and half vinegar (it’s usually 3 parts to one), but I just saw a tip. When the jelly jar is almost gone, add your oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. You now have a fruit vinaigrette.

Computer jumping again. EEK
Ron, guess I must be a genius too. I slice the bread I make put them in small plastic bags...and in the freezer. If and when (not often) we have small pieces or stale....the Chickens enjoy.

I would like to have a GOOD Bread Slicing knife....do you know of one? I did see one and I think in King Arthur catalog...but it was
$100 plus dollars. TOO expensive. Regards, Aria

I bought an electric knife. It slices my bread beautifully.
