Ron, guess I must be a genius too. I slice the bread I make put them in small plastic bags...and in the freezer. If and when (not often) we have small pieces or stale....the Chickens enjoy.

I would like to have a GOOD Bread Slicing knife....do you know of one? I did see one and I think in King Arthur catalog...but it was
$100 plus dollars. TOO expensive. Regards, Aria
I have one that I like a lot! It is not expensive either

I bake three loaves of bread and slice them and freeze them in ziplock bags. When someone wands bread, they either toast it or thaw in the microwave briefly. That way the bead does not go bad. (and it is eaten...some find it hard to slice bread)

The end pieces are cubed for bread pudding. After it is stale it goes into the freezer.

They think I am a Genius!

I don't have a problem going through bread. We use a loaf a week if I make it. Store bought I had to keep in the freezer.

I am making Pizza. This is a family favorite. I use Lidia's Pizza Dough Recipe. There is no sauce in the topping. We call it White Pizza.
Top of Dough: EVOO, Garlic Powder, Pecorino Romand Grated Cheese, Pepper and sliced muzzarella. Lidia's recipe makes two
12 inch round Pizzas and it keeps well. I cut it in wedges and wrap
in Wax Paper for later warming in toaster oven. My husband's
favorite.

Enjoy the pizza!

Growing up we had hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls. Mom would slice into the hot dog slightly lengthwise and put a little sliver of cheese on it. Yum!
I think that would work great with the pizza dough, only I would leave one one open for the grease to escape. They all seem way to greasy now days.
We made pigs in a blanket with biscuit dough--home made of course! We put the dough around the middle
