I was just wondering this morning if anyone has been baking. It's been so horribly hot here, I haven't felt like having the oven turned on. I might have to see if I can find my chocolate no-bake cookie recipe, those are good and no hot oven required.

I was thinking I might do an ice box fruit basket cake this week. I'll go the lady fingers route with fruit and whipped cream.
Then it is absolutely positively calorie cutting time.

Today I cooked Yeast raised pancakes, angel food cake and sourdough french bread.

I am going to make a black berry sauce and whip some cream for the cake.

Wait-wait-what? Yeast raised pancakes? I have have never heard of such things. Like a doughnut without the hole?
I need information or I may never think of anything else.
