Remember, you have to share them with us! (Virtually of course, lol)

Will you be taking the summer off with school out before long?

school is done June 26-- and I magically turn into Nana daycare for my 6 yr old granddaughter . I can't wait! She just helped Papa and uncle plant corn on Monday. All the drudgery work she finds fun! and she loves to help in the kitchen.

Oh yeah, that's the magical age where drudgery = fun. Take advantage of it before she learns differently.

I remember when my 2 boys thought washing dishes and pushing a mower around were fun. That just doesn't last nearly long enough (but they are well trained now).

this Nana has a blast. We had some big thunderstorms last night, and had to call to ask if her corn was ok after it stopped.

I thought being a mom was great until I became a grandmother! it is the BEST and I am lucky she lives close by so I can see her often.

Sunny-side-up Desert recipe.

Found this in a Taste of Home recipe magazine. Slice of pound cake toasted lightly in a skillet, served with vanilla yogurt on top and an apricot half on top to the yogurt.

Looks like toast with an egg on top.

Here's link to the recipe, so y'all can see pic : http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/sunny-side-up-dessert?Login=JoinLogIn

(I have never been sure if posting pics from other sites is allowed or I would just copy and upload?)
