I couldn't afford the Tupperware ones, so I bought a couple of sets of plastic containers from one of the superstores: Walmart, Target, Shopko or K-Mart, can't remember which. The big container holds a #10 bag of flour - so those 2 hold Flour and white Sugar, the medium size one holds 4# of sugar, so those 2 hold powdered sugar and brown sugar, the smallest one holds all the tea bags that I collect to try and never do - since I don't like tea. I broke one of the small ones by putting leftover Brandy slush in it and into the freezer. The plastic got really brittle in the freezer and cracked when we tried to chisel out the frozen slush. Can't find those containers anymore either.

Tupperware has that lifetime guarantee. Unfortunately, as you said, you can’t get the same set for very long.

The filling can be just about anything (like a streusel type filling). I used walnuts, brown sugar and dried cherries. Next time I'd leave out the cherries, it was hard to slice thru them.
they look great!

I have a can brown metal that hold my flour just shy of the 25lbs, use to be a twin that Ma kept flour and sugar in not certain what happened to it but refuse to pay 35. or more when I can buy them at our hardware for 4 dollars

I have a LARGE PULL DOWN BIN my husband built in my Pantry
and it holds 25 pounds plus. Later when I was working....I was not baking as much...so the bin was converted to hold boxes of
crackers etc. We purchased (years ago) round red hot candies
and they came in plastic tilted containers with covers. I have
an Antique Hoosier and after removing the Flour Holder and Sifter (It was "shabby" and I did not want to use it.)Still Have it......stored in the basement.....
the space was perfect for the two Containers to fit one atop the other. The top holds White Flour and the bottom one holds
Whole Wheat. Each Bin holds 5 pounds of flour. And I usually
have extra Flour in my Pantry. It works.
