I wonder if Homemade Irish Cream would work for the glaze? I don't buy it from the store anymore. Probably not a good idea to use it in the glaze with the raw eggs in it.
I made Tom & Jerry Batter and have it in the freezer for us to enjoy. I can't believe I never had these before, my family always had these at Christmas and I didn't think I liked them. DH grew up with these for the holidays, but the stuff you get from the store is so awful,![]()
It is no wonder no-one drinks them any more.
DH insisted we buy some one year and we ended up throwing it away. I mentioned that I had the family recipe, if he wanted to try it I was willing to make it. When he tried it he was like.
I've never heard of Tom & Jerry Batter...what is it?
