Hey Penny, if you ever need to ripen up some bananas real quick, put them on a foil lined baking sheet and put in the oven for a while. They get real brown and just ooze sweetness.

I've been enjoying a loaf of pumpkin bread the past couple mornings. That's the last of what I had stashed in the freezer from Christmas baking.

I'm so glad that sourdough is resilient! I haven't touched it fed mine in MONTHS. Like at least 8 months. It's been shoved to the back of the fridge and forgotten about. DH decided to clean out the fridge the other day and threatened to throw it out so I let it warm up and fed it. The next day, I dumped some down the drain and fed it again. Today, DD wanted to make sourdough biscuits so we did and they turned out awesome! I feed it one more time and will throw it back in the fridge tonight. I'm surprised it survived lol

Nice job! Sourdough can be saved unless it turns pink and even then I would try to revive it.

Love how forgiving it is I often will not touch it for a month or so love to make sourdough waffles or pancakes
