hello everyone,just got my first successful loaf out of the breadmaker ,the first was a disaster because I didn,t read the weighing instructions properly .won,t make that mistake again !tomorrow I think I,ll make pizza dough and maybe a fruit loaf ,I,ll have tofreeze some because I,ll nevereat it all on my own but I,ll have a good try

Congrats on getting a good loaf of bread! Nothings as good as home baked

Freezing is a very good way to store bread until you can eat it!

I've been using my sourdough a lot lately too. I think I made biscuits twice and dinner rolls once in the past week lol

I am going to take my starter out this morning to get it active for baking!

I've seen them lots on Pinterest in those colors. Pretty!
I've never made them before or had one in one of those colors. They aren't the macarons my mom used to eat, (white).. Oldest daughter has asked me to make them for her sometime.

what a day weather wise rain, sleet ,snow and hailstones so I decided to bake a cake lemon flavoured with lemon butter icing in middle also made some scones .I wanted to make pizza dough in machine but didn,t have stuff for topping so will do tomorrow instead early this morn I put some pork in slow cooker with barbecue sauce when ready I,ll have it with crusty bread I made yesterday .also yesterday I made a chicken cass with dumplings ,had for tea finished for lunch today .now I,m going to have a cup of coffee ,piece of cake and to hell with all the weight I,ll be putting on !

I was just on the phone with DH. He's already requesting pizza for his next trip home.

All this talk of bread makes me think... An older- friend had made pumpernickel bread in her bread machine for me once. It was the best nickel-bread I have ever had! That recipe had so much flavor. Had kind-of an onion'y' thing going on..anyway, so good. Often wish I would have asked her for the recipe, she has been gone for some time now.
