Any Home Bakers Here?

Aria, your oatmeal cookies are cooling as we speak. Will know soon how they taste but if the batter is any indication, they'll be great!
Bob, GREAT. Floyd does like them....and he is very critical. I
put some in small plastic bags in the freezer. It is so warm and humid and just the two of us...do not want them to get stale. I like
them...trying not to eat too many. I always like to have fresh baked cookies in the freezer...for unexpected visitors. Hope you like them. Aria

The banana cake I made recently was a hit with my boys. I’ve made it twice now. I wish I had some ripe bananas and I’d make it for Monday for a funeral in our church.
You work today don’t you?

You can ripen bananas quickly DMC with no need to wait. Just put some foil on a baking sheet and put your nanners on it. Bake at 350* until they reach your desired level of doneness. One of my favorite baking shortcuts!

Thank you Debby. I wish I would have known that. I would have bought bananas at Sams club yesterday. I’m doing a red velvet.

Several of my favorite baby food recipes include oven roasted bananas.
