You know this thread came at the perfect time...I was just telling Mom this afternoon that I need a new pie crust recipe. Just one question before i try it...what do you mean by 1 cube?

In a box of cubbed butter there will be 4 cubes. Each are half a cup of butter. 2 cubes for a whole cup.

I was unable to get Fleischman Yeast and they had Red Star...I purchased it and it is FINE. I was able to order Red Star at Amazon.

I think over here in the U.S. we refer to sticks...there are 4 sticks in a pound of butter, each of them equals 1/2 cup (2 sticks equals a whole cup).

I think it depends on where you are here. I have seen the called cubes and quarters here.

The question I have is about the cream cheese since it is sold in a package. How many ounces of cream cheese in the recipe?
