I know Kemmerer! Went through there on a covered wagon in the spring of 1974, I believe, with a bunch of religious zealots. Isn't that the town with the arch of deer antlers?2 hours out of Kemmerer Wyoming.
I will likely need to bake more sourdough bread this weekend. The temperatures are better but the smoke is still badI might be able to bake some bread in a couple days finally
You get to see the Mess for me to clean up after Baking 2 Loaves of Raisin Bread and one Sourdough still Rising:
4 cups Bread Flour
1 T Yeast
1/4 cup Avacado Oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup molasses
2 cups warm water
1 teaspoon salt
In Mixer all ingredients...place in greased bowl..cover rise 1 1/2 hour
Punch down shape into 2 loaves 9 x 5 Greased Tins Need to rise top of tins. Bake 400 degree oven 35-40 minutes. Note: this is the first time I made this recipe. I notice that the dough was "a little wet". Probably needs a bit more flour.View attachment 2329248
