Yes makes sense first thing to check .. Not sure I want to try on newer cars

They let the gas out but not in. That will keep the sourdough fresh and not build up pressure in the jar.

I will try it out today when I get some bread started

the way to protect yourself from them in fish is cooking to 165 and also freezing at 0F for several days.

It is a problem with undercooked fresh fish like red snapper and cod

Yup, got it. Good job, very handy skills indeed!

They let the gas out but not in. That will keep the sourdough fresh and not build up pressure in the jar.

I will try it out today when I get some bread started

I was thinking they might come in handy for sourdough as well @Aria so I’ll be watching for results as well.
