Am I imaging it and thinking of somewhere else, but does BYC ever have a holiday baking contest? I took a photo of some from scratch chocolate chip cookies today and saving them just in case - thank you!

I just watched a REALLY weird and freaky ballet called “The Rite of Spring.” I listen to music on YouTube and it came up as a suggestion. Then I decided to look at the ballet itself.

It was, without a doubt, the WEIRDEST thing I ever saw!

What on earth was Stravinsky thinking when he wrote that?

Anyway, back on the baking subject, I’m going to see if I can pick up supplies for Christmas dinner tomorrow.

Ahhh . The old scotch eggs. I'm not really into ham or pork as a rule but I have had a few of these little beauties in the past. Thanks for sharing this link.

I've watched people make them on tv before and they look tasty but haven't tried making them myself. If you decide to give it a go, let us know how they turn out!

Making some scotch eggs same as having armadillo eggs really but do that with Jalapeno tomorrow night ..
Key I have found is to dry whatever you choose to fry, coat first.

Taking the goose out to thaw tomorrow. After two days of thawing, I’m going to render the fat out by boiling, then I’m gonna let it dry for two days. Christmas day, I bake it.
