I have a small baking business. The cakes I offer are 6 inch 3 layer cakes, $25 each. The cookies range from $8-$13 a dozen depending on size and flavor. For a dozen regular chocolate chip cookies, I charge $8. For a dozen XL chocolate chip cookies and a dozen lemon curd thumbprints, I charge $13 a dozen. Hope that helps!

sounds reasonable! I have found that "friends" either want a freebie by saying "I'll buy the ingredients" or want to get a real wholesale deal.

Last night I made rice pudding in my Instant Pot. Sooo good warm, even though it was hot yesterday. I had some more today for a mid-afternoon snack. Wow, did it thicken up as it cooled! Still just as tasty.

Since DH doesn't like rice pudding, it's all mine. Might have some as a bedtime snack...

me too! but sometimes I get asked to make a special occasion cake. it is flattering, but awkward sometimes. I have brought cakes for birthday parties I have been invited to, and considr the cake as part of my gift --since it's a hobby I don't have a price list
