I've had a dreadful urge for white bread but know it's not so good for me. Soooooo I'm made a white loaf with a difference.

It's called only the lord knows what this bread is. :D

Sourdough starter with a drop of pineapple juice, 500gr of white strong flour a table spoon of golden sesame seeds, salt too my taste buds 125grm butter and 2 teaspoonful if slippery elm.
As I folded over my bread I used cornflour for a few folds. Wiped the top of my loaf with olive oil and a little salt then sifted corn flour on top and popped it into the oven on gas mark 6.

Good looking bread Aria!

I baked my buns off yesterday. Why? Because I wanted to! (And all of it was for dinner).
Peach crisp (with extra crisp)

Like I said: a special kind of strength to not cut into a fresh loaf!:gigThe only time I have that strength is if I made the bread for someone else.

Bruschetta for the fresh bread (not baked), using all the ripe cherry tomatoes from my plants. I need to start some indoor herbs because I had to used dried basil, and fresh would have made this taste extea

It felt so good to finally bake a loaf of bread, and the fact that it turned out almost perfect is truly a blessing
I like to cover w foil, add white wine spices olive oil, then uncover after they are getting tender, 20-30 minutes depending on temp, then goose heat, gently turn them over to get the oil and spices on them again, and brown..turning every 10-15 minutes to brown..this way they stay moist on the inside no matter what size you cut them into..yours are beautiful!

Fun! Been to Topaz Mountain, Utah?

No, I never heard of it.

I’m finally back from my trip. Here are the best fossils I found.
