Ugh, hope not! Have had kidney stones and gall stones as well. Hoping this does not get that bad. Don't jinx me!

I take it you haven't had the Shingrix shots? I suggest you do so after you recover (don't know if there is a "waiting period") because you CAN get shingles again. I wasn't "old enough" for the original shingles vaccine when I got the dread disease. Got that after, had the Shingrix last year



Gabapentin? That is what I was given.


Me! I'll take yours! I wouldn't want you to suffer even having to smell it.

Was THINKING about getting the shot!!! But had just gotten Covid booster and flu shot, thought I would wait a week, still feeling the effects of those. I will certainly get the Shingrix shot ASAP after this clears up.

Not Gabapentin, already taking that for fibromyalgia. Dr gave me Acyclovir, an antiviral.

How about we share that German chocolate cake? Or I fight you for it? Maybe I could do the sad puppy dog eyes, I'm too weak to fight today, lol!

You can have the part with the nuts, I'm not a nut person. We can share the rest.

Maybe the gabapentin will keep the Shingles hit to a minimum. I had the major pain prior to knowing I had shingles. DW just happened to see the lesion on my back and looked it up. Went straight in to the urgent care place where it was confirmed and I was given the prescription for gabapentin. All better in a few days, about 1 week total. I suppose I was already fighting it off since the cause of the pain was not known for 3 or 4 days.

Wow, less than two weeks, that's great! When I looked it up, I read 3-5 weeks! I'll take yours! I've had mine about 3 or 4 days so far.

Has anyone ground rice in a blender to make flour before? I have a Blendtec, and the website says how to do it, so I'm going to give it a try.

My GF sourdough starter came yesterday! I need some rice flour to get it started. I have a GF flour, but it's a blend. I'd really rather make my own, since I buy organic rice. The GF flours are expensive, that's for sure.
