Are you in much pain? Mine was a pain that started in my lower back, wrapped around to the front of my left thigh and went down to my ankle. That would have been tolerable if not for the dull knife that was jabbed into my quad with some frequency and twisted back and forth.
Actually, and surprisingly, no! Some of the lesions, if I may call them that, actually seem to be shrinking and others seem to be receding! There is mild itch in some, and the swollen lymph node at the back of my head that was the first symptom is shrinking. Apparently I got to the doctor soon enough, and got started on the Acyclovir in time before it really got out of hand. It was starting to creep down my neck toward my collarbone, and across my face toward my eye, but it's slowed way down now. Hallelujah!

And this morning it's practically gone! So if you get a weird rash on one side of your body, don't delay! See your doctor right away! And if you haven't gotten your Shingrix shot yet, DO IT!

Just took it out of the freezer and unwrapped it. Very happy!

I did a science experiment to see how effective face masks are at blocking bacteria. I sneezed into a petri dish with a mask on, and sneezed into one without a mask on.

The results were interesting after a week.

This is a sneeze with a face mask on. Only one bacterial colony after 1 week of growth.

This is a sneeze without a mask on in the same amount of time. See all those tiny white dots? That’s bacteria.

Face masks may be annoying, and we may not like wearing them, but they sure do block bacteria and viruses well!
