Maybe it's time to loan the kids to relatives for a day!!!

I wish! NOBODY will take all 6, and I don’t blame them. 6 kids 6 different directions, 1 teen, 2 pre teens, 6, 5, and 2 year old….they are one HOT mess!

7 in just under 10 years (obviously one is missing). We had to keep out of the kitchen when mother was in there, and help clean up by 4.

Love it!!! So cute!!! I have them help, even the 2 year old. But right now he wants to help….that will end soon. I’m fighting the 4&5 year old to just clean their own room. We are trying to use the pool as leverage.

When my 3rd oldest was their age, I about died…not literally but… I asked her to clean her room. And she didn’t. So I said fine, I’m gonna throw it away. I went and got a trash bag. I started putting stuff in it and she said “I don’t care”. So I told her you do it then. The little butt nugget picked stuff up and put it in the bag . Like kid, the stuff in your room is toys and cloths, they go in 2 places. Are you serious

Hi everyone,

Still pretty busy, but I’m having a break now. I wanted to share with you a baking story that I just remembered.

Before I moved to Nampa in 2017, I tried making mozzarella cheese for the first time. It did not turn out right. When I tried it, this was my reaction.

“ I don’t know, lad. It’s like no cheese I’ve ever tasted.“

It was actually this show, Wallace and Gromit, that got me into making cheese.

Now that I solved my problem with how to make sure that mold doesn’t grow under wax, I’m going to try making cheese sometime when I get back home.

I will post again when I have time.

Any one else have this problem?

My kitchen is clean and all I can think of is “I wanna bake something”.

Question
1) what do I bake?
2) do I really want to?

I have 6 kids. So while I’m trying to bake something, I’m either cooking something else, or getting them something to eat and or drink. I end up with a beautiful clean kitchen and I start baking, and it looks like I haven’t touched it in a few days. I have the stuff from baking, dinner or lunch dishes, everywhere. I clean as I go but with six kids, everything gets messy so fast. I just want to bake some bread or cupcakes or a cake or cookies or a pie…anything

Oh yes I do. my 2 year old won’t give up until he get what he wants. Needless to say with him having 5 older sisters and his dad spoiling him because he is the only boy….I will never win . Though the mug cakes would end up with less dishes…..
