Youngest and I made rice krispies and almond bark pretzels-nothing fancy but two favorite holiday treats here.

Hey all you bakers out there.. So glad BYC has a thread for everything, bc I need some help on cornbread stuffing.
This Thanksgiving I want to make an old fashioned cornbread stuffing. I’m good on the cornbread part but among most of the recipes I see to make the stuffing there is canned cream soup or some other quick fix processed stuff. I will (probably) use sausage in the cornbread, and I will be using the turkey giblets for giblet gravy.
Does anyone here know of a cornbread stuffing recipe without the canned soups?
thx in advance!!![]()
I can't use canned cream soup, as they're thickened with wheat flour, and I'm GF. When I need some kind of cream soup, I make my own, using bone broth and thickening it with cornstarch. I haven't found a recipe that that doesn't work well in, flavor-wise.Does anyone here know of a cornbread stuffing recipe without the canned soups?
