Any Home Bakers Here?

Afternoon Home Bakers. Do not think the bread
machine is built to have two loaves separate.
I have not used one but is one big vessel right.
You misunderstand. I did not put two separate loaves in there. While the machine was kneading, the flour mixture separated into two loaves by itself.

I guess I was not clear if it looked like two it can only make one.
because they they where in it and not mixed together real well.

Jared, I had something similar (but less extreme looking) happen when I switched flours in my bread machine. It was just a little too dry. I added 1 tablespoon more of water, and that took care of it.

Oh, by the way, the Z machine (I can never remember the name, so that's what I call it) is the bread machine I really want to get. But they're $$$. My neighbor goes to a lot of estate sales, and I've told her if she sees one, call me!

I don’t think that’s it, I’ve been keeping track of it during the entire 3 hour 30 minute process. I was checking on it periodically to make sure the machine was working properly. It definitely did rise. The only thing that happened that’s worth noting is that when it was kneading, it did not turn into one big ball. It turned into two small balls, which later merged.

Everything else worked perfectly.

The loaf I made last night was perfect. It’s gone now, so I can’t post a comparison picture.
Didn't you do a double batch of dough, Jared? Maybe that's why it formed two balls?

Hey guys, guess what!?

My oven is fixed!!!

I am over here doing the happy dance. My Kid requested chicken patties for lunch yesterday and I made pizza for dinner (commercial crust, sorry).

I'm BACK! :wee:yesss::woot
Glad your back and the oven is working now.

This is before, when I wasn’t measuring flour properly.
