I did some research so here goes:
Urinalysis - checks
-Leukocytes - for infection
-Nitrite - indicates an overgrowth of bacteria
-pH - measures pH of urine, metabolic acidosis (=over acidity in the
body). Ideally urine pH should be pH of 7.
-Protein - indicates kidney problems and/ or general inflammation
-Glucose - indicates Diabetes - Diabetes is leading cause of kidney
disease in world.
-Ketone Bodies - indicates Diabetes, Fasting, or rapid weight loss
-Urobilinogen - indicates liver disease
-Bilirubin - indicates liver disease
-Blood - indicates kidney problems (kidney damage, kidney stone,
and urinary tract infection)
NOTE: Urinalysis does not provide a definitive diagnosis.
All abnormal results should be followed up by additional test by your
doctor.
