Any Home Bakers Here?

I was excited to have grown some zucchini this summer and made some zucchini bread. Yum!
But my garden has been quite a challenge. I got 4 zucchini and then nothing more. Our temps are so extreme, vegetable gardening is quite the challenge. Too hot all summer and then the 'in-between' temps are short lived and unpredictable. I wanted to plant my Fall garden but can't yet because this weekend is supposed to hit 110 both Sat and Sun.

The recipes are in Shadrach's Ex Battery and Rescue ...

They are located on 1748 the numbers at the top of each page and 17476 thee number at the top of each person writing in the thread.

Hope this helps.
Thanks!

I was able to add the post to the index and it seems to work!

Already got it 😉, got driven to a rehabilitation clinic yesterday, have to stay there for 3 weeks, one of 2 new hips, cannot say that I really enjoyed the process up to now.. before, all the people were telling me how easy it was, now everyone is telling me I had major surgery and that is why I’m in so much pain and my blood pressure is in the dumps ( which makes me feel even worse ) I really hope there will come a time when I’ll also be one of the persons telling you that I was so glad I did it … my 2. hip is almost as bad, not really looking forward to going through all this mess again 😥
Sorry to hear you are hurting, but hopefully it won't be long before healing happens and you'll be up roller skating and skiing again! Okay, not that, but moving freely without pain, we can hope for that, right? My late MIL actually had THREE hip surgeries. The first one went very well, no problems, after healing she was good as new. The second one was problematic, she would not lie still in the hospital in recovery and it never did heal right, so they had to do it over again. But after that she never looked back, no pain and she never slowed down till the day she died. Recovery and rehab takes a little while, but it will be worth it, I'm sure! :hugs

Does anyone here also make zucchini bread? It's literally the best!!! I love making banana bread with a little bit of chocolate chips too!
Love z bread! I will BUY zucchini and make some! Thanks for the suggestion. Z squash also makes good pie, tastes just like pumpkin. Grate the veg, skin on, parboil it and just use your favorite pumpkin pie recipe.

When a recipe is added to the thread, I add it to the Google sheet.
And we appreciate you for your faithfulness, Ron! :hugs

I made chocolate mousse tonight! It's like 10:30pm in Italy rn!
